TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
